I am having a Blue’s Clues birthday party for my daughter. She is turning 2, but i will have a mixed aged party. One of the games is going to be a scavenger hunt but I have no idea what they should look for. I am going to have it at a park, can any one help?

Hi! I have this party coming up in a day and i have a friend’s apartment as the venue. The issue with the whole plan is that his grandparents live upstairs and it isn’t cool if they get to know that people downstairs are listening to loud music.

I’ve read a lot of soundproofing techniques online but most of them involve either recreating your wall or buying soundproofing equipment. I don’t have the money nor the time for the latter and need some simple remedies to the problem. I was thinking of using thermacol to may be block the gaps between the doors and the floor. Any suggestions are welcome.

P.S. The speakers are right next to the apartments door. (Very Urgent, the party is tomorrow!)

I am throwing a small surprise party for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday party July 26. It’s going to be at our apartment’s community room. I am worried that if I send out the invites too soon that people may forget about the party, but if I send them out too late that people may already have plans!

Also, is it appropriate to ask people to bring a dish to pass? I plan on having a main dish and some snacks and beverages of course, but he has a big family :)

I’m turning 21 next Friday, having a birthday party the following weekend at my house for various good reasons.

I’ve never had a birthday party before or any party before for that matter.

But, I totally forgot about food (mainly was interested in the alcohol). I kinda figured we’d order pizzas, since everyone loves pizza and we can get different toppings for different tastes. But my brother in law suggested getting a crock pot for dipping things, and chips, and that’s all I can think of, really.

What’s good food for a 21-26 crowd, mostly guys with higher metabolisms/guys that eat a lot? I’ve got some meat eaters and some vegetarians coming, and then a few (very few) omnivores. Less expensive food is good.

Please help!
8-15 guests, if that helps. The girls coming aren’t really of the “dainty” variety either.
