I am a single parent but make a decent living. I want to throw my parents an anniversary party in 2 years for their 45th wedding anniversary. I didn’t have the money to do it for their 40th so I’d like to start planning now. How do you have a party without spending so much money on things such as the entire bar tab, etc.? I’d like to have an evening party but can u ask the guests to pay for their own drinks? Or do I have to cover the tab?

I’m having my daughters birthday party at our house this Sat. I was planning an outdoor BBQ with a bounce house, slip-n-slide, water games, that kind of thing. Go figure, just heard the forcast and they’re expecting rain. I have nothing to do inside my house! What can I do to entertain people inside if we get rained out? The guest of honor is two, but there will be guests ranging in age from chidren to elderly and the party is supposed to be for 3 hours. Any ideas or help is appreciated, thanks!

Alright so not really a party, but my buddy has a pretty decent chance of going back to jail monday when he goes to court. Him, his brother, and me usually hang out and I end up crashing over there every saturday night. Tonight could be the last time we all get to chill for a year, what should we do?
