I think its over for the democrats after today. Hillary supporters are going to vote for McCain or an other independent. If they nod Hillary them Obama supporters will just stay home.

And if they are on the sam ticket it sure will behard for them to beat McCain this fall because how bad the democratic party dos not care for people in FL and MI.

I hear conservative talk show hosts encouraging their Republican listeners to vote in Texas Democratic primary. I’m sure this is nothing new but how does the Democratic party combat this and ensure that the candidate truly desired by the Dems is elected?

Throwing an R rated bachelor party, but am afraid the party will get cut short by the hotel staff. Has anyone ever done this in Los Angeles? What hotels can offer “discretion”?

If you belong to a third party or are an independent (at least in some states, you have to belong to a party to vote in the primary), you pay via taxes for statewide primaries to be held where the two big parties figure out who to run. Why should I be required to fund elections for political parties I don’t belong to? Political parties are private organizations, after all. Let them pay for their own primaries by reimbursing the state for expenses.

There are essentially 5 GOP presidential candidates, and 3 Democrat candidates. How is it decided which ones will be the nominees for president and vice-president for each party? What happens if neither party can decide by the time the Conventions roll around?
