I have been talking to my daughter about the idea of a charity party for a couple of years . I think now is the time to have one. Several of her friends have had b-day parties and it seemed to me that special emphasis’ were placed on guests who brought the best/ expensive gifts. I am so over attending or should I say sending my children to those types of parties.
Her b-day is the second week of November.

I’m not very well educated in political matters, so I was curious what political party believes that the Market has way too much freedom and is wreaking havoc across the globe. A party that believes in price control and financial equality instead of room for greed and oppression? A party that believes in bringing back the union for workers? I would like to know what party this is, thanks.

I was thinking of doing black, white, pink and silver decorations. I don’t really have a lot of money to spend but would like to make her feel very special. No luau because we did that for her 13th and no sock hop because we did that for her sister’s 13th in January. She has mentioned a murder mystery,or a masquerade. Any help would be great. The party will be in Febuary but I need to get started planning int now because of holiday and her sister’s birthday in January.

I know the Democrats had 76 seats in the Senate back in the 1930s. In fact, if the online sources I checked were correct, that was the largest majority that any party has ever achieved in the Senate.

At what other times has one of our parties gained such a majority, though?
